On the same WiFi? Just enter the server device's IP. Using VPN? TACMAN detects your ZeroTier, WireGuard or Tailscale address automatically.

Installation

Installing outside the Play Store

Android calls this "sideloading" and will warn you before installing — that's expected for any app outside a store, not a sign something's wrong. Verify the SHA-256 checksum above against your download if you want to be sure.

ALLOW THIS SOURCE

Tap the downloaded APK. Android will prompt to allow installs from your browser (or Files app) — tap Settings, then enable "Allow from this source". This is per-app and one-time.

INSTALL

Tap the APK again and choose Install. You may see an "Unrecognized app" notice — this just means it isn't distributed through Google Play, not that it's unsafe.

UPDATES

TACMAN checks tacman.io on launch and shows a banner when a newer version is available — download and reinstall the same way, your data and settings stay put.
